When I got back to Zurich from the Alps the train station was full of ravers. There air smelled like pot, there were kids laying on the pavement drugged out and the techno music was blaring.

Sean, Yves and Joan.

Group pic!

Posing in front of the Street Parade xmas tree.

One of the main stages.

Photo op with World Peace.

Yes, we are super cool!

There were over 800,000 people celebrating in Zurich for the event.

Downtown Zurich.

More of downtown Zurich.

After a wonderful dinner at one of Zurich's finest French restaurants, Joan and I enjoyed a walk and then a drink to do some catching up.

This is what happens when the company that makes the Swatch watch produces a car.

The Rhine River begins in the Rheinwaldhorn Glacier of Switzerland and flows north and east approximately 820 miles (1,320 km). It is navigable from the North Sea to Basel, Switzerland.

Pascale with her new handmade camera. She took lots of pictures during this field trip.

Some of the buildings in this town were built over five hundred years ago.

Funny looking fire hydrant.

Horses.

Hiking by the Rhine River.

After hiking and lunch we took a boat ride back.

The boat ride back.

This little mutt wanted to make friends with the geese.

Taking a dip in the Rhine River.

Almost everywhere here looks like a postcare.

Look at this yummy feast of seafood fondue!

The kids had some too.

After dinner we had a multinational karaoke festival. The first tune was in Italian.

I am not drinking all the wine. I am using it as a prop (instead of a microphone).

It was not surprising at all that Joan had an amazing voice.

It is Bovi's turn to sing.

Here we have a group performance from the rug rats.

Megan is belting it out.

The girls were so cute and eager to share some tunes.

An old Roman fort. It is amazing to see how vast the Roman empire was.

Joan, Bovi and the kids took me to this place to enjoy some sun and swimming. To the Swiss it was a nice warm day, but for most it would have been to cold.

Driving Yves Mini to the Ski resort close to Zurich. It was lots of fun!

The kids love this thing. It would make me very dizzy.

Yes, it is a fun ride!

Riding the lift.

This ski resort has figured out a good way to make a living even when there is no snow.

Naomi and Pascale.

There they go.

Getting ready for a speedy ride down the mountain.

Thats the lake of Zurich in the distance.

Getting some lunch. What a view!!

Thierry is hanging on me while we wait for our food.

Trekking down the mountain.

The kids are learning how to levitate.
